This is Some of Me ~ Vincent Lang

I grew up in Raymore Saskatchewan, 1 of 3 brothers and a sister. always intrigued by carpentry as a young boy, I still recall making my first solid wood box at age 14. My father was a contractor, so the influence of construction was always present and as I grew into my late teens, I could often be found onsite helping Dad with kitchen renovations and cabinetry projects.

Part of my lineage to woodworking stems from my great uncle Maximilian Lang, a well known and respected Violin maker, his pieces can still be found today. I think for me however, the passion for woodworking grew over time served 38 years in fact this year.

Leaving the homestead and making my way to the big city, I was soon working for a finishing company, building kitchen cabinets and in a short while, running the shop. With a natural gift in my hands and a deep interest in hand tools, my time spent with woodworking has always been fulfilling.

Moving with my wife and children to the west coast BC, I  eventually found myself running my own shop. The business years have had their challenges, however, one thing is and always shall be consistent, my love of specialty wood materials, my passion for making furniture, cabinetry and bespoke unique pieces. 

I love my career, and I put a lot of myself into every project I take on.
